Our Story

The Fillmore Café opened in November 2022 on the grounds of Unity Village — a peaceful campus in Unity Village, Missouri, just minutes from Lee’s Summit. We were founded on a simple but powerful belief: a neighborhood café should be more than a place to get coffee. It should be a place where people feel welcomed, seen, and inspired to connect.

What started as a coffee shop quickly became a community anchor. Today, The Fillmore Café is where locals come to start their mornings, work through their afternoons, and celebrate their evenings — over exceptional coffee, craft cocktails, live music, and great food. Unity Village’s hotel on campus and its regular events bring visitors from across the greater Kansas City metro, making TFC a meeting point for neighbors and guests alike.

Live Entertainment Every Week

The Fillmore Café hosts live events every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Drink specials run Thu–Sat from 4:30–6:30 PM ($2 off Specialty Coffee Drinks and all cocktail bar drinks).
